Your First Visit

What to expect:

Dr. Hunt will review your medical history and perform a detailed examination, which may require oral x-rays, panoramic x-rays, & possible 3D CT scans. This thorough consult will result in an individualized treatment plan and answer all of your questions regarding your procedure. General Anesthesia or IV Sedation is used for most of our procedures, so the surgery is typically scheduled on a different day. Complex medical history or multi-staged treatment plan will require an evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on another day.

Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation:

  • Your surgical Referral Slip and any X-rays if applicable.
  • A list of medications you are presently taking.
  • All medical & dental insurance information. This will allow us to verify participation & determine any benefit information to help you process any claims.
  • Pre-register for your appointment with our online forms.

To expedite your treatment, you may have your dentist send us your referral and x-ray electronically.

IMPORTANT: All patients under the age of 18Ā  years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the consultation visit.

X-Rays

If your dentist or physician has taken x-rays, you may request that they forward them to our office. If there is not enough time, please pick them up and bring them to our office. If additional films are necessary, they can be taken at our facility.
